This hands-on course uses a pig head model to demonstrate and practice surgical techniques for Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) treatment. Participants will perform dissections to explore key anatomical structures involved in OSAS, such as the soft palate, tongue base, epiglottis etc.. The course covers various surgical procedures, including uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) and other airway-modifying surgeries, allowing participants to refine their skills in a realistic, anatomical setting. This dissection-based learning enhances understanding of surgical interventions aimed at improving airway function in OSAS patients.
